1. Project Officer: Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore
{Sept'16 - Aug'18}
 

Project : “High Precision Wireless Optoelectronic Sensing System.”

  • Developed a novel Linux-based optoelectronic sensor for smart building applications.

  • Designed low-power electronic circuits, constant current drivers and a wireless sensor network.

2. Visiting Fellow: Singapore University of Tech. & Design (SUTD), Singapore
{Dec'15 - May'16}
 

Project : “Smart City Implementation through Wireless Sensor Networks.”

  • Through Wireless Sensors deployed in residential areas in Singapore, analysed Space Utilization Patterns, Weather Patterns, and generated meaningful insights to improve the living conditions for citizens.

  • Developed various Sensor Fusion algorithms, and presented high-level and low-level insights of urban residents’ mobility and space utilization patterns for designers to reinvent places.

  • Used MATLAB tool for sensor data processing, analysis, and visualization.

  • Improved the data collection process of sensor nodes.

 

Project : Home Automation System for Indoor Smart Urban Living.”

  • My key responsibilities included the deployment of the automatic wireless control system for indoor lighting.

  • Co-ordinated Raspberry Pi with various indoor objects connected with wireless sensors via XBee.

  • The whole Internet of Things (IoT) system will be deployed in HDB houses in Singapore.

Project: "Hardware Implementation of Scalable MAC Protocol for Heterogeneous M2M Networks"

 

  • Worked on configurable RFBee Transceiver module and programmed its firmware for massive nodes implementation.

  • Implemented protocol on MAC layer to increase the efficiency of M2M Communication for the sake of QoS, Power Consumption, Energy Efficiency, and throughput of the whole network.

The motive of this establishment is to help students bring out innovative ideas in any field, and help them incubate.
